Create a WebM version of your 3GP video for a different playback or editing workflow. The video is re-encoded, not merely renamed; check movement, sound synchronization and the destination player before replacing the source.

The current engine uses this output preset: WebM / VP8 · 2 Mb/s · CRF=10 · Opus 128 kb/s / 2 ch. These values describe the output, not the source recording.

How to convert

  1. Click “Choose files” and select the original 3GP file. Start with one file when comparing settings.
  2. Check that the output selector shows WebM. The instructions here describe this choice; changing the output can change which settings apply.
  3. Click “Convert files”, then save the result from its file row. “Download all” puts completed files into a ZIP; it does not combine their contents.
  4. Play the downloaded WebM from the beginning, middle and end. Check duration, sound, synchronization and playback in the actual destination app; a successful download alone does not prove device compatibility.
