This image route exports pixel data, not a repair of the original. Layers are flattened and animated or multipage files use one frame or page. Color depth, profiles and metadata may change; lost detail cannot be recovered by changing the extension. This route extracts the PDF text layer and creates a new text-based document. Scanned pages need a separate OCR tool. Original layout, images and reading order are not guaranteed to survive, and password-protected PDFs are not supported.

This document route rebuilds readable text in the new format. It does not preserve the original page layout, embedded pictures, tracked changes or rich styling. Compare the exported paragraphs with the source before editing or sharing. This route converts cell values rather than a complete workbook. Charts, macros and formatting are not retained. How to convert

  1. Click “Choose files” and select the original ODS file. Start with one file when comparing settings.
  2. Check that the output selector shows TSV. The instructions here describe this choice; changing the output can change which settings apply.
  3. Click “Convert files”, then save the result from its file row. “Download all” puts completed files into a ZIP; it does not combine their contents.
  4. Open the TSV result and compare row counts, headers, empty cells, dates and identifiers with the ODS source. Preserve codes such as 00123 as text in the receiving application; do not assume its automatic type detection is correct.
