How to convert

  1. Click “Choose files” and select the original RTF file. Start with one file when comparing settings.
  2. Check that the output selector shows TXT. The instructions here describe this choice; changing the output can change which settings apply.
  3. Click “Convert files”, then save the result from its file row. “Download all” puts completed files into a ZIP; it does not combine their contents.
  4. Open the downloaded TXT document in the intended editor. Compare headings, paragraph order, special characters and table text against the RTF source; edit the new document if layout matters.

Read the row's error message. Check the genuine input format, file integrity, protection and size. Retry one small sample with the tab active and required engine downloads allowed. A codec unavailable in this browser engine requires another compatible source or converter.
